Patricia Love

A Montana native, Patricia Love, grew up in the north central plains of BIG SKY country. The sky, clouds and mountains created a new picture each day, which enhanced her love of living in the west. "Santa Fe gave me that same visual canvas. Living in the big city has its benefits, however, Santa Fe provides a wonderful living mix." Patricia has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Northern Illinois University. She began her business career as a sales representative for a national wholesale apparel firm. Within a very short time she was promoted to National Sales Manager. Her position as National Sales Manager allowed her to interface with merchandising and design in addition to her management of the sales force. Patricia's innate ability to visualize concepts as finished products allowed her to make significant contributions to the design team. Moving to Dallas, TX opened the first real estate doors for her. She founded an Interior Design Company in Dallas. Many of Patricia's clients required a total design package that required selection of faux finish painting, flooring, furniture and accessories. Patricia's level of taste and her ability to hear what the client was looking to achieve can be credited to a large extent to her success. Her business was almost solely based on referrals of current and previous clients. Patricia's reputation in interior design led to the introduction of a new venture. The Dallas real estate market had become quite competitive with the inventory of homes on the market far outpacing sales. "Homes sell faster if the buyer can see how the home would look furnished." With that concept, another branch of her business had begun. A major segment of my business came from working with the Real Estate agents in the Dallas and Fort Worth Metroplex. The program was so successful that she had a 100% sell through. The sale of this company to a real estate company led to Santa Fe. While having a luncheon meeting with some local real estate agents, she was asked who she might know to help organize a sales effort at a converted apartment project in Santa Fe. Patricia said, "I can do that". And she did. Starting as an independent contractor for the project, she quickly got her Broker's license - - proceeded to sell, operate, manage and a closing coordinator for the condominium complex. When she left, she had sold over 70% of the 260 units. Patricia creates relationships. Her interest is always how she can best meet the client's needs. Her focus and willingness to hear what her clients have to say is of utmost importance to her. With her extensive background in Condominium living, Patricia has become an expert on downsizing one's home and the benefits that brings to the buyer. Her success again opened the door to the next opportunity…Patricia had been invited to join the Premiere Real Estate firm in Santa Fe, Barker Realty. The professionalism and integrity of the principles made the decision to become a part of the Barker team an easy choice. Patricia is now a re-sale specialist at Quail Run, a Resort Golfing Condominium Community in Santa Fe. She also sells and represents properties in and around Santa Fe.
